CROUZEILLES

Approved Sep 23, 2019
High confidence Exact registry match — this is a specific TTB COLA record. We found a strong match for this wine.
What to Expect

Crouzeilles Tannat offers a robust and full-bodied red wine with deep color and firm tannins. This classic European variety hails from Madiran in southwest France, where it produces wines that are traditionally bold and structured. In Uruguay, the grape has taken on a new identity, often producing more fruit-forward expressions while maintaining its dark core. Expect flavors of blackberry, black plum, cassis, licorice, smoke, cocoa, leather, and earthy spice. The palate is full-bodied with high tannin and moderate to high acidity, making it an excellent pairing for grilled meats, sausages, and rich dishes that can absorb its structure.
